Who's Behind This
VeloRoam is built by Andrew Tepen. Andrew has coached endurance athletes for more than a decade, including executives training for Ironmans, and has raced himself, time trials included. He has co-directed fundraising rides and helped run a national handcycling race series for the US Handcycling Federation with a staff of two. He also spent time on the floor of a bike shop in St. Louis, where he saw how much of local cycling runs through the shop, the group rides, the club, the person who remembers your name and what you ride.
He managed an adaptive cycling program, and once led a group of adaptive cyclists from Frisco, Colorado to the top of Vail Pass, about 14 miles of climbing to 10,662 feet. That ride sums up what this site believes. Riding is for everyone who loves it.
