Day of Event Schedule Our 14th Annual 5K & 13K are held on a fully paved course next to the sand in Playa Del Rey on August 30th, 2026 5:15am: Parking Lots Open (LA County charges $13, bring cash). The line backs up so arrive early. 6:15am: Registration and Vendor Booths Open 6:30am: Bike Tour Starts 7:05am: Costume Contests 7:16am: National Anthem 7:30am: 13K start (2 hour time limit, 15 min per mile pace or faster) 7:50am: 5K start 9:30am: Kids Run starts (time is approximate and depends on when the last 13K walkers are clear of the kids run course) 9:45am: Awards Ceremony Share your photos on social media!

Charity In its 14th year, The BRA Run supports Evelyn’s BFF , a charity that helps breast cancer survivors get back to their new normal while supporting counseling, reconstruction, and other items that people are often not able to get covered by their insurance.
Most of our grant recipients have bills going into 6 figures! This event is the biggest fundraiser for this all volunteer organization and determines how many people they can help this year. Evelyn
