♂️ The Highs & Lows Tour: A Ride for Every Journey ♂️ The Highs & Lows Tour is a one-day cycling event featuring a variety of routes designed to showcase the natural beauty and terrain of New Hampshire. Riders can choose from traditional road routes, mixed-surface gravel adventures, and—new for 2026—a mountain biking option that opens up even more ways to explore. This year, all rides begin and end on the scenic campus of Plymouth Regional High School, nestled at the gateway to the Pemi-Baker Valley.
From there, road riders will explore the Baker River Valley, winding through charming towns and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Those tackling the full century will venture even farther—into the Connecticut River Valley and over Mount Cube—for a truly epic experience. The mixed-surface routes wind through quiet backroads, cross covered bridges, and feature classic gravel roads such as Perch Pond Road and Sandwich Notch.
For riders hungry for more miles after lunch, the full 65-mile course is among the most challenging adventures conceivable on two wheels. The post-lunch 25-mile segment includes iconic climbs like Texas Hill, Bridgewater Hill, and Poole Hill, packing 3,500 feet
