About This Event

Join us on September 19 for the annual, family-friendly Yough-n-Roll bike ride on the Youghiogheny River Trail of the Great Allegheny Passage and stay for the Party on the Trail. The ride includes 20- and 40-mile options and a 4-mile option perfect for families looking for a shorter distance. Event t-shirts will be given to participants who register by September 7 .

This is a ride at your own pace on a smooth-surface trail adjacent to the scenic river valley, through small towns, historic sites and stretches of unpopulated wooded areas. Ride 20 miles to Sutersville and back or 40 miles to Smithton beach and back. The family ride is 4 miles to Twele road pavilion and back, or any distance you or your family is comfortable with.

All proceeds from this event benefit the Mon/Yough Trail Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that maintains this section of the trail. Your support of these events enables the MYTC to purchase and maintain equipment for the preservation of its section of the GAP along the Yough River (from mile 116 to mile 131).
